Will Szczerbiak

Will joined Greycroft in 2015 and is based in New York City. He co-leads the fintech team and targets investments in enterprise fintech, DeFi, Web3, vertical SaaS, and B2B marketplaces.

Will’s active investments include Addi, Amperity, AmplifAI, Emerge, Enboarder, Flutterwave, FrankieOne, Immuta, MyCarrier, Palmetto, Pryon, Red Balloon Security, SmartHop, Wagr, and Yieldstreet. His notable exits include Archer Aviation (IPO), MapAnything (acquired by Salesforce), and Vettery (acquired by Adecco).

Prior to Greycroft, Will worked at Volition Capital, a Boston-based growth equity firm that invests in high potential, founder-owned companies across different technology sectors. At Volition, he was responsible for sourcing and executing new investments, as well as working with existing portfolio companies. Will’s investments at Volition included Velocify (acquired by Ellie Mae) and Globaltranz (acquired by Providence Equity). Before Volition, Will worked in the Technology Services group of Raymond James advising middle-market companies on M&A transactions and private capital raises.

Will holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
