Sam Strohm is a Senior Vice President and Director the PNC Global Security Fusion Center. The Global Security Fusion Center consists of the Attack Surface Management Team (Vulnerability Management, Firewall and Proxy Operations, Security Analytics, and Vulnerability Scanning) and the Security Fusion Center Team (Security Intelligence Group, Cyber Response and Forensics, Security Operations Center, Insider Threat Group, Fraud Operations Center, Security Optimization, Physical Security Operations Center, Security Operations Emerging Technology and Products). Sam has been with PNC for 23 years and a practicing IT professional for over 30 years. Previously he worked in Business Continuity, led the Critical Incident Management team and has been part of the Security Organization since 2012.
In his 30 years of experience, Sam has accumulated CISSP, CBCP and PMP certifications. Sam is a member of the Customer Advisory Board for Tenable Security to help shape their current products and future offerings. He is also a member of FS-ISAC and member of the Threat Intel Committee, Fusion Center Council and the Fraud Steering Committee. He is also a member of Infragard, NCFTA, and sits on the BITS/BPI Security Committee.
