Liz Nutting is Sr. Executive Relationship Manager for Discover Global Network, working with FinTechs and banks that issue white label prepaid, debit, and credit cards on the Network. Her role is to help clients create innovative and efficient payment solutions that leverage the Discover Network. She has nearly 20 years of experience in payments on both the bank and the network sides and has worked with some of the largest card issuers in the U.S.
Liz has been a frequent speaker at conferences such as IPA’s Power of Prepaid, PayThink, and NACHA. She has served as a judge and mentor for several pitch competitions, including StartUp302, the Venture Center’s FinTech Accelerator, and the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge which promotes innovative and sustainable ventures by students from over 40 universities in 20 countries.
Prior to moving into the payments industry, Liz spent 15 years as an adjunct instructor, teaching classes in college composition, history of religion, and theology and ethics at Temple University, Bryn Mawr College, and elsewhere. Liz has a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and Master of Arts in Ethics and Master of Divinity degrees from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA.
