Brian is a founder and partner in the Klaros Group, an advisory and investment firm focused on financial services, technology and regulation.
Before Klaros, Brian was CEO of BancAlliance, connecting a 300-bank network with fintech and other partnerships. Previously, Brian served as an investment partner at Blue Ridge Capital Management and as a senior executive at both CapitalSource, a finance company that converted to a bank, and at Fannie Mae. Brian served in government, both as the senior financial services aide to then Congressman Schumer during the S&L crisis and as a staff member on the “Brady Commission” which investigated the 1987 stock market crash. He started his professional career as a technology M&A investment banker with Morgan Stanley. Brian has an undergraduate degree from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford.
