Armen Meyer is Head of Public Policy and Regulatory Strategy at LendingClub, the U.S.’s largest bank personal lender and first fintech to acquire a national bank.
Previously, Armen was a Managing Director at PwC advising financial services companies, after serving as Chief of Staff of New York’s bank regulator and Assistant Secretary of Economic Development for the State of New York. Earlier, Armen advised state governors, congressmen, and candidates for federal office on economic and political matters. He also clerked in United States District Court.
Armen received his J.D. and M.P.A. from Harvard Law School and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, focusing on business regulation and antitrust. He graduated top of his class from Fordham College at Lincoln Center in mathematics.
In spare time, Armen advises early stage tech companies, business incubators, and nonprofits, and enjoys foreign travel.
