Alexandra Johnson is Director and Head of Innovation in Global Transaction Services (GTS) at Bank of America. In this role, Alex leads a team responsible for exploring new technologies and concepts that will drive greater efficiencies, security and advancement of treasury solutions.
Before joining the bank in late 2022, Alex worked at JP Morgan as the Global Head of Go-to-Market, Commercialization and Partnerships for Foreign Exchange Product, where she established a product design and go-to-market function , oversaw pricing and revenue management, and drove the strategy and development for multiple market-leading cross currency solutions.
Previously, she was Director of Network Implementation and Strategy at Hyperwallet, a member of the PayPal group of companies, where she handled the onboarding and implementation of the global correspondent network, led the prepaid card offering, and managed global payment operations. Earlier, she worked in the Business Transformation Office and as manager of the Upscale Brand Initiatives team for Choice Hotels International. Alex began her career as an Economic Strategy consultant for Kellogg Consulting Group in Washington, DC.
Alex is on the board of Bottomless Closet, a non-profit supporting disadvantaged NYC-based women in entering the workforce and achieving success. Alex has dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University.
