Tom Dempsey

Tom Dempsey is the Senior Vice President of Business Development responsible for leading the growth and success of at Rocket Mortgage.

In his role, Tom oversees various business channels including Strategic Partnerships, Corporate Relocation and Employee Affinity Relationships.

Tom has been involved in the mortgage business since 1999 – joining what was then known as Rock Financial as a Loan Officer. He moved to the Business Development team in 2010 and established the Relocation Channel for Rocket Companies. A portion of his experience includes collaborating internally on processes, technologies and systems that enhance the mortgage experience.

Tom continues to innovate and execute on new strategic partnerships and approaches each new opportunity with passion and excitement that is contagious to those around him. He is a devoted mentor and challenges people to achieve greatness through leading by example and an unsurpassed dedication to the success of the businesses.

Tom is an active member in the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and holds both his Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) and Senior Global Mobility Specialist (SGMS-T) designations from Worldwide ERC. Tom regularly shares his insights on the mortgage industry through various panels, webinars and speaking engagements.

Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University and currently resides in Metro-Detroit with his wife Christie and son Tyler.
