Timothy Flacke is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Commonwealth, a nationally recognized non-profit focused on building financial security and opportunity for all. Commonwealth conducts primary consumer research and partners with major private sector players to apply these insights to effect systemic change, with support from the world’s leading foundations (e.g. BlackRock, MetLife), and financial service institutions.

Commonwealth collaborates with fintechs, banks, credit unions, corporations, policy makers and other social impact organizations, piloting savings and emergency savings tools and working with partners to bring these to scale. It has thrice impacted the federal tax system, and spawned new financial products and public policies responsible for helping more than 750K Americans save over $3B.
