Phin Upham

Phin Upham is the Managing Partner at Haymaker Ventures, a VC fund focused on early stage fintech. Previously he spent a decade investing in fintech at Thiel Capital, making early investments in SoFi, Gusto, OnDeck and Flyr. He has an MBA and PhD from Wharton Business School and a BA from Harvard University. In 2022 he published a book called Innovation and Knowledge Communities analyzing the intersection of technology and social structure.
