Kim Gerhardt

Kim Gerhardt is Owner and Principal Advisor at The FinTech Interactive, an advisory firm focused exclusively on digital financial services. Kim has 30 years of experience in consulting and financial services, with expertise in growth strategies, operational excellence, and risk management. She is currently advising clients who operate in the areas of ML/AI, identity verification, collections, Fair Lending, consumer credit risk scoring, and new technologies in payments and lending.

Prior to The FinTech Interactive, she built and led consortium knowledge-sharing efforts amongst senior credit and fraud risk executives at traditional banks and reputable FinTechs. She worked with these clients closely during the pandemic in response to the rapid and severe shocks in the industry.

Earlier in her career, she held positions at Merrill Lynch and Union Bank of Switzerland. Kim has an undergraduate degree from Villanova University, and an MBA from Columbia University, both with distinction.
