John Scrofano

John Scrofano, while mediocre at copywriting bio snippets, does love to build, lead, and rally teams to create customer centered, new products, in big markets, with high impact. He may be mediocre at that too, but please don’t tell his boss as perf reviews are soon. Also, he loves commas, especially that sweet sweet Oxford kind, but you figured that out already. He’s currently getting to do that thing he loves (building products, not adding commas) as a Vice President at Remitly. He built and launched Passbook, Remitly’s digital banking service focused on immigrants and incubated the foray into lending. He’s now leading corporate product strategy. Prior to Remitly he was CEO or Founder of three consumer tech start-ups. John’s favorite part of the job is product, design, and strategy.

John lives in Seattle, WA with his amazing wife and 2 berserk kids. They spend 10 months of the year wet. He’s still looking for a hobby.
