James Garvey

James Garvey is the founder and CEO of Self Financial, a credit building platform working to increase economic inclusion and financial resilience through products that make building credit accessible for those with low or no credit. Under James’ leadership, Self has supported more than 3 million people on their credit building journeys, raised $127 million in funding, and continues to offer innovative products to build credit. James has built his career as a software engineer and entrepreneur.
