Emmalyn Shaw

Emmalyn Shaw co-founded Flourish Ventures, a $500M global venture firm that invests in fintechs with purpose. She leads the US portfolio team and sits on Boards of Unit, Kin Insurance, SeedFi, Clerkie, Cushion, EarnUp and Steady. She led the firm’s investments in and provides guidance to Brigit, Chime and Propel.

An industry thought leader and advocate for transforming the U.S. financial system to help create financial health, Emm speaks at industry conferences and is a sought-after media source. She is a strong believer in working with marginalized communities and leads her firm’s DEIJ efforts. Emm serves in leadership roles at YPO and All Raise.

Emm has over 20 years of tech investing as a Partner at Omidyar Network and a Venture Partner with Oak Investment Partners. She was also tech investment banker at Morgan Stanley and holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Berkeley where she graduated summa cum laude.
