Dan Allred is a Senior Market Manager for Silicon Valley Bank, leading SVB’s National Fintech team, responsible for the Fintech clients in San Francisco, New York, and Boston. Prior to this role, Dan led the tech banking group in Boston. Under Dan’s leadership, his teams have delivered on growth goals across many important metrics, including loan growth, deposit growth, core fee income, and equity upside from warrant gains. Dan has led by directly engaging the most influential clients, prospects, and investors in the market and aligning colleagues and internal resources to deliver financial services and solutions to help tech companies grow and succeed. Dan has also played a key role in national campaign strategy for SVB, leading several successful omnichannel sales & marketing campaigns, leveraging digital tools and strategies to extend SVB’s reach and scale in the market. Prior to his current role as a group leader, Dan led multiple teams for SVB in the Boston and Durham NC markets.
As a community leader, Dan serves on the Board of the SVB Foundation which provides grants to non-profit organizations in the communities where SVBers volunteer their time. He is active on the Executive Committee for Best Buddies International’s fundraising events, having served as Executive Chair for the Best Buddies Hyannisport Challenge charity cycling event in 2018 and 2019.
Dan attended the University of North Carolina on a James M. Johnston Scholarship and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He lives with his wife and daughters in Wellesley MA.
