Chris Pilkerton

Chris Pilkerton is Chief Legal and Regulatory Strategy Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund. He was Acting Administrator and General Counsel at the SBA and Senior White House Policy Advisor. He has also been a Compliance Director at J.P. Morgan Chase where he was named one of the “50 Heroes of the Fortune 500” by Fortune Magazine for international humanitarian work; financial services counsel; Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and Senior Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He serves as a Vice Commander (Flotilla) in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary; Executive-In-Residence at Johns Hopkins University Business School; and has taught public policy and risk management at Catholic University of America Law School (CUA). He was a Fulbright Teaching Scholar and received an MPA from Columbia University, a JD from CUA Law, a BA from Fairfield University, and a certificate in Data Analytics from Cornell University.
