Chelsi Bennett

Chelsi Bennett, J.D. is an accomplished government relations and public policy executive with over 12 years of experience in policy development, public relations, communications, strategy, and legislative advocacy. She currently serves as the State Public Policy Lead (Eastern U.S.) for Block, Inc. (Square/Cash App/Tidal/TBD/Spiral/AfterPay), a Fortune 500 company. In her role, she leads a 25-state government relations program.

Mrs. Bennett began her career co-leading global technology implementations and managing diversity committees for a global company. Then, she attended law school, while she serving as a local elected official and regional public affairs manager for a statewide elected official.

After law school, Mrs. Bennett was promoted to serve as a senior policy advisor at the Florida Capitol. She also provided pro-bono legal counsel to low-income families in need.

Mrs. Bennett has also held positions at the City of Richmond, The CHB Group, University of Richmond, LWC Foundation, and the American Heart Association.
