Dr. Catherine Havasi

Dr. Catherine Havasi is a technology strategist, AI researcher, and entrepreneur who has been working to apply emerging AI technology to real problems. She is a pioneer in human-AI collaborative intelligence and co-founded ConceptNet, the first project to use crowd-sourcing to train an artificial intelligence. She previously directed the Digital Intuition group at the MIT Media Lab where she taught natural language processing and entrepreneurship including working with MIT’s Center for Future Banking. She is currently Chief Product Officer of Basis Technologies which provides identity and content intelligence for compliance.
