In an interesting use case Santander has become the first company in the world to use blockchain to make it easier for investors to vote at an annual meeting. The large Spanish bank said the use of blockchain would speed up the voting process at annual meetings and make it easier for more shareholders to take part. They conducted a trial at the shareholder meeting in March that was successful. Source.
