Martin De Los Santos

Martin de los Santos is the Senior VP of Mercado Credito at Mercado Libre (Nasdaq: MELI), the largest e-commerce platform in Latin America. He is currently responsible for MELI´s regional credit business. Mercado Credito is a fintech operation that offers working capital loans to merchants selling thru MELI´s Marketplace and provides consumer credit to the unbanked population in Latin America. Before that, he was an Independent Director at Mercado Libre for 5 years since the company´s IPO in 2008.

Martin holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In the past he has worked at Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co, Merrill Lynch, IMPSA and Vostu.
